Testi Trading Plc - Ethiopia 2020 Verified listing

Testi Trading PLC was established in 2019 by Faysel Abdosh and his wife to produce and export specialty coffee. The farm is found in Sidama zone, Bensa woreda, Bombe kebele, Durato village, SNNPR. The company currently produces up to 37,800 kilograms of organic, UTZ, and rainforest coffee annually on 7 hectares of land. It also collects up to 100,000 kilograms from 725 outgrower farmers.

At the Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition, Testi submitted a natural anaerobic coffee sample and scored 88.64, earning the company 12th place. “The coffee sample we submitted is a very unique cup, and for us to be able to get 12th place at this prestigious competition is a huge accomplishment,” said Ato Faysel Abdosh, co-owner of the company. “This is very encouraging and I know with hard work, this will give us a place in the specialty coffee market for the future,” he added.

Ato Faysel hopes the Cup of Excellence competition will come back next year, “we want to add on to what we have achieved this year, build on it, and do better next year,” he said
