Chal COOP Naannoo - Ethiopia 2020 Verified listing

Naannoo Chala Cooperative is found in Jimma zone, Gera woreda, Oromia. It was established in 2012 and has 692 coffee farmer members (108 female). The cooperative processes on average 220,000 kilograms of washed and natural coffee annually, and exports through Kata Muduga Union to the international market.

The cooperative submitted a sample from 15 hectares of land, which ranked 20th with 87.71 points. “All our members are very happy. I believe this is a great opportunity to promote our members and the woreda as a specialty coffee producing area,” said Tilahun Mamo, the cooperative’s manager (pictured above).
