Description
Wolde, 56, is a father of eight children and owns 2.5Ha of land in Wania Kersa Kebele, Geeraa Woreda, Jimma Zone of the Oromia Region. He grows a 74110 coffee variety and processes natural-Coffee. Wolde, inspired by the success of the previous winners, decided to enter his coffee for COE for the first time. “I am excited to learn I had made it to the top 40. Farmers from my area haven’t succeeded the first time. I am thrilled and lucky to be in the top 40 with my first attempt,” he added. Wolde has been in coffee for about five years.
