I chose the variety Typica, honey process to participate this year in Cup of Excellence. This is a family owned farm and we all participate in the process from nursery to harvesting and we select the ripe coffee cherry at his optimal peak to maintain the quality of coffee. I feel very proud of my farm, because it is very special as we have worked very hard and united as a family. I regulate the shade and I use different fruit trees as lemons, peaches and others. This allows to have an excellent environment to produce coffee. This is the third time I participate along with my husband and I hope this year to obtain a better price and with that income support my family. I would like to thank, specially, the IHCAFE technicians that continually visit us and encourage us to participate at COE and reached this good position. I dedicate this achievement to God in first place and my daughter Dariela Carvajal (RIP) to the heaven. I love you my child.
