Mauricio Escalón Pacas is the fourth generation in the coffee industry. Part of the generation that made the coffee industry grow in El Salvador to position itself as the third largest producer in the world. Mauricio Escalon Pacas, is one of the people of that generation that connected and knew how to manage the change from volume to quality, a pioneer in the Specialty Coffee Industry in El Salvador since its inception.
Farm History
Finca Holanda is located in the cantons of Ochupse Arriba and Calzontes Arriba, in the gold belt of the Santa Ana Volcano, Finca Holanda was an accession to Finca San Antonio, which has belonged to the Escalon family since the 1950s. Farms that in their time were famous for their productivity obtaining volumes of up to 70 qqs per manzana.
