In 2017, the Falla family ventures to find another area to produce coffee as they have been in the Antigua region for more than 130 years.
The Fraijanes area was selected due to the conditions to grow coffee on the farm, its altitude, its location and the opportunity to expand and grow in another region.
At the time of purchase, the farm was renamed Finca El Retiro, and the complete renovation of the farm began. Traditional varieties, bourbon and caturra were planted under the shade of gravilea using same agronomic practices that have been used in the family for many years, providing amazing results.
Right now it is a young and new farm in which we are going to continue investing and innovating to harvest excellent coffees.
