Description
The "Apipias" farm is located in the municipality of Huitzilan de Serdán in the northern sierra of the state of Puebla, Mexico, with an area of 2.5 hectares at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level, all planted with the Marsellesa variety. My father and I have been working together for 5 years, taking advantage of the experience of 3 generations of producers to achieve recognition from expert tasters and an important positioning at the national level. The farm has shade trees such as bananas, tangerines, papayas, and orange trees, as well as flowers such as orchids. One of our main objectives is to care for nature by conserving the flora and fauna of our region. The peak harvest months are January and February, and the farm has two certifications: C.A.F.E Practices and Fairtrade International. Love, commitment, and responsibility are values that guide the producers in their work in the field, their meaning in their culture, gratitude to the team that makes it possible to experience the greatness of their land in every cup of coffee. Mario Alberto Aco Gómez and the entire group of people who contribute to cultivating and processing coffee at Finca Apipias are very grateful and happy that their coffee reaches other parts of the world.
