Description
Farm El Porvenir is a family farm of three generations, starting with my grandfather who then passed to my father and since 2002 I have been in charge of the farm.
This is the first farm in the municipality of San Fernando where the first coffee plantations were planted in the time of Don Porfirio Ortez between 1940 and 1945. This fact appears in the coffee history books and is something that makes us very proud. This farm has 40 manzanas under development and harvests under shade.
In the Nicaragua 2024 Cup of Excellence Contest we participated with a yellow Pacamara variety with a washed process, as the attributes of our coffee enhance a clean cup, very sweet, tropical fruits, structured acidity and long residual, participating for 6 years obtaining good results.
My brother and I did not imagine being in the top 10, although I had already tasted it and we know that it is a good coffee I did not know that we were going to reach a good position. I feel proud of our coffee, very happy, we had calls from Japan from our buyers congratulating us for the excellent quality of our coffee.
Always in the hand of God and only the Honor, the Power and the Glory. Our customers are satisfied and continue to enjoy the best coffee.
