Histroy Fazenda Sr. Niquinho was originally a portion of Fazenda do Serrado, which had been sold and in the 1990's was acquired again by Mr. Antonio Andrade Pereira Filho and Mrs. Maria Conceicao Costa Pereira. It is located at an altitude of 1100 meters and has average annual rainfalls between 1200 and 1300 mm. The native forest and the riparian woods around the water sources are environmentally preserved. The coffee varieties planted at the farm are the Catuai and the Acaiá.

Coffee processing system

Coffee is picked manually on cloth. Immediately after, the beans are sent to the processing area, where they are washed, pulped and spread on a terrace, where they are turned over many times with special rakes until they reach 11% humidity. Subsequently, they are transferred to wooden bins to rest for at least 30 days. Concern with quality The farm is assisted by an agronomist and an occupational safety engineer, and promotes training courses for its employees. Its infrastructure consists of washer, pulper, driers, wooden bins and approximately 10,000 m² of terraces.
