Description
History
I bought my farm 25 years ago, I originally planted 1000 coffee trees of Caturra Variety. The members of my family are my wife and five children, all the family helps in the farm with different labors. As the farm is big, we have apart of coffee, grass for cattle, sugar cane, and native forest.
Environmental Care
We have tanks with filters for processing the residual water from the house and from the wet milling process. We also use the pulp to produce the organic compost to be used later in the fertilization of the crops. I dont burn nor cut the native forest, I protect the native trees around the natural source of water.
Coffee Processing Information
Coffee is despulped the same day of the harvest. The fermentation takes all the night and washing is done the next morning using clean and fresh water. The drying process is done in parabolic solar drier.
