El Alto - Costa Rica 2008 Verified listing

EL ALTO This farm is located in the Tarrazu region, at 1750 meters above the sea level. This farm has belonged to the Fallas family by four generations, at the beginning it was used to produce corn and beans but they decided to designate 2,5 hectares to cultivate caturra and catuai coffee varieties. Herbicides are used one a year, with the purpose of maintaining the weeds controlled, besides to avoid the erosion, they use terraces.
