Overview

Humberto Gonzales Ospina is from a 100% coffee family, he was born in may 2dn of 1959, in the municipality of Rioblanco – Tolima. 25 years ago he started his dream when he got the farm “Las Brisas”; he is part of the association of Specialty Coffee Growers “ASOCEAS” five years ago, they join the group with the goal of getting organize and improve their quality of life. He is also part of an association of trout producers. He has being in important trains offered by the Coffee Committee of Tolima in the faro “CECAF” in the municipality of Libano – Tolima. From there they got the idea of getting organized. He lives with his children and wife in the farm; who are daily with him, working together for the coffee and supporting him with the management that they need to go ahead. Beside coffee he diversifies the coffee land with plantain, corn, beans, and a vegetable garden that provides their food. His quote: “The coffee has given me the most satisfactions in my life and off course has improved my life and my family life”.
