Overview

In the farm we produced Organic Quality Coffee. We are certified with OCIA INTERNATIONAL, UTZKAPEH, RAINFOREST ALLIANCE, that permit us to work in an organized manner, such us : Register our crops, diversification, wood trees, fauna protection, improve living conditions of the people that works in our farms. Develop the market expectatives. The farm is located 20 kilometers of Valle de Angeles, which is a turist zone, where the best hand crafts are fabricated and traded in Honduras . It is located 45 minutes from Tegucigalpa, the Capital of Honduras . QUALITY PROCESS The Process of humid beneficed is realized under the quality standars collecting only grape , immediately after of the despulped in dry, then to the natural fermentation we wash with clean water of the same place or farm. Applying technical recommendations, in order to protect the environment of this zone. This is dried in a sieve (sifting) and dried in concrete floor patios. ENVIRONMENTAL CARE The farm is also located in the reserve zone of the Parque Nacional La tigra, where many species of birds, tigers, tepezcuintles, deer, squirrel, possums , which are also found in our farm since the crop is under shade and is surruonded by this natural forest (wild animals and wide leave trees). COFFEE PROCESS INFORMATION FERTILIZATION This farm is organically fertilized (Bocashi) twice in the year and sprinkled with natural fertilizer. DISEASE AND PEST CONTROL We have an intergrated pest management system. First, agriculture control, then biological control and if necessary, we use foliar control with naturals products. HARVESTING The harvest begins on December and finishes on April each year, Most of the personnel that works in this labor are women. WET-MILLING In the farm we have all the physical structures for wet milling, fermenting and washing, classification canals, sieves and solar driers. All the infrastructure needed for a high quality coffee. DRY-MILLING This coffee is prepared in the farm to the dry parchment stage. The processing to export, it takes place in a company that prepares coffee to exportation.
