Mr. Elias Huelgos, was born in Risaralda Village, municipality of Chaparral, in Tolima Department, he began as a coffee grower in 2005, by the time planting coffee and beans. Today he got the support and help of his family; his wife, Mrs. Nubia Medina and 6 children who are working with him at the farm in an artisan way. Elias is member of the Cooperative of Coffee Growers of South Tolima - CAFISUR. He participated in some versions of the Cup of Excellence. He is committed with Coffee Quality and his farm is a certified Rainforest Alliance farm. The farm is located in an area that has the influence of Calarama Mountain, the environmental offer that has this Mountain and an ecologic reserve, made the region special in hydrologic conditions, forest and biodiversity. Also this is very close to the cannon of “Tetuan River”, the main river of this area, the ones that provides water to a lot of coffee communities.
