Description

Overview:

In 1954 the grandmother of Adda Mercedes bought on the outskirts of the city of Concepcion Ataco, Ahuachapan department, an area that was mostly empty, which had a small garden of medical plants cultivated by a famous healer named Isidro Agabo who ministered to the sick people, who visited and prepared homemade ointments and medicines for sale. Hence comes the name of the farm: Agabo. In that year, the waste ground coffee was grown, and are currently cultivated varieties of Bourbón in a ratio of 90% and 10% Pacas, having acquired the property in the year 1984, so too, in the year 1990 were planted at the entrance to the farm a row of trees whose branches myrtle springs blossom in the months of May and October, providing a pleasant smell. This property is located in Canton Los Tablones 5km from Concepcion de Ataco, a tourist resort founded by pre-Columbian tribes pipiles in the heart of the Sierra Apaneca Ilamatepec, with a height of 1250 meters, which is within the tourist route called Route of the Flowers, which promotes diverse towns. In the place of its location there are plenty of coffee plantations and its fauna includes varieties of butterflies and squirrels. The farm covers an area of 7.25 blocks, whose topography is completely flat, temperate climate, surrounded on its boundaries with native trees and cedar amate centennial pink, which overlooks a natural landscape of coffee plantations, semi-forest tropical mountains.
