Celso Martinez Collazos, is married to Libya Collazos and they have 4 children: Celso, Carlos, Elian and Johan Paola. He is a son of a traditional coffee family, living in the municipality of “Alpujarra” in Tolima State since his 8 years old; he was helping his parents to the recollection of coffee by then. 32 years ago he bought the farm “Las Golondrinas” Located at the municipality of Pitalito; which was abandonee and with a lot of efforts from the whole family they got up getting the result of the nice enterprise they have today, from where they obtain the coffee lot to participate in the Competition Cup of Excellence. La finca Las Golondrinas esta ubicada en la zona de influencia del corredor biologico en la region del Macizo Colombia no, haciendo que su propietaria tenga especial cuidado en el manejo de las aguas con las que beneficia el cafe, a su vez soy muy meticuloso son la recoleccion del grano, del cual para este concurso realizase bastante seleccion del grano que hasta los trabajadores y ayudantes de la finca me tildaron de LOCO. The farm “Las Golondrinas” is located in a zone of influence of the biological runner in the region of the Colombia n Macizo, where the three ranges are join together and where most of the rivers of Colombia have born; this is motivation for them to take special care for all the water recourses they are using; right there in the farm there is a spring water where they are taking all the water to supply the needs for domestic consumption and for the facilities of wet process. For the maintenance of the water they use for processing the coffee, he says: “I am very meticulous for this, as well as for the picking of the beans, for example for this competition I made a lot of selection of the cherries enough that some of the workers and assistants of the farm they call me “Crazy”. His Word: Coffee has being the best for me, my family and the people around me, because coffee has giving me all what I have, and compare with other agriculture projects this one has a great organization that is safe and also generates a lot of work that is translate in incomes to all that live from it.
