Finca Nueva Linda - Octavio Moguel Farrera Finca Nueva Linda was founded in 1973 by his current owner, Octavio Moguel Farrera. It is administrated by Juan Jose Moguel Oantes. The owner begins in coffee world, when he was working as a driver for a coffee finca and noticed how interesting and noble the coffee production was. In 1998, he owned a 142 has land, but Hurricane Mitch destroyed 38 has of the finca and ruined the beneficio facilities. In 2005 Hurricane Stan hit the finca, causing severe damage. After rebuilding his beneficios and planting new trees, we were able to harvest 4000 quintals in 2010. In 2009 we won the third place in the Mexican coffee quality contest called Premio Cosecha in the Arabica category.
We feel very proud of us as owners on behalf of our employees. We are very motivated for working harder and in a more productive way to get a better result for the next year.
