Name and Location of the Farm: 

The Farm (LA ESPERANZA) is located in the municipality of Dipilto a place known as The Cambalache on the border with Honduras at an altitude of 1200-1300 meters above sea level in the Dipilto-Jalapa Mountains about 30 miles from Ocotal Header Departmental Nueva Segovia.

Tell us The Farm History: 

Farm got LA ESPERANZA part by the legacy of my father and the rest was buying small portions of land that was integrated into the Farm to achieve 20 apple of land extensions.

Family Generations:

The family consists of 4 members my wife (Olga Marina Gonzalez, I Salathiel, both Samuel and Paola González Zavala)

What is your secret for winning the competition?

Do a good handling of the plants (Nursery Garden, Cleaning, Nutrition of the Plants, etc.).

First it was because my coffee has all the attributes that are expected for the type area where my farm is located.In the second cutting I handle it well by cutting only the ripe fruit. Third, Cut and wash the coffee time. Fourth, have a wet time Benefited and bagging addition to transporting immediately to Dry Mill the coffee 

How do you feel to have been a winner?

Very Excited with more desire to work best for good quality coffee. Thank God, I feel good and proud to represent the coffee category level to Nueva Segovia and my coffee to be auctioned is an honor for me to know that is sent as one of the best coffees in the world

What do you think about the Cup of Excellence?

That is great because it benefits the producer also motivates the producer to be released in the market with its quality. It also helps the economy of the producer and helps us all producers in Nicaragua .
