COOPAC- Nyamwenda CWS is among COOPAC Company owned CWS by Mr. RWAKAGARA NZUNGIZE Emmanuel, with a prime goal of improving substantially small coffee producers living conditions in a sustainable manner. And it has been working with a good number of coffee farmers and establishing washing stations nearby their coffee plantations.
It has started in 2003 with initial production of 65 tons of green coffee whose 45 tons of specialty coffee quality. It is located in Nyamyumba Sector, Rubavu District, in Western Province, with a scenic view on Lake Kivu; COOPAC Nyamwenda can be accessed by boat where one can see coffee plantations on the islands hills in Lake Kivu. It has been working with coffee farmers grouped in KOZABUKANYA cooperative The Coffee Washing Station coordinates:
