Description

It was built in 1992. It has a tradition of producing good quality coffee. In the Burundi Gold cup in 2011, this coffee washing station took the first place. In 2010 in Arusha Tanzania during Test of Harvest organized by EAFCA, it won the regional award offered by Schulter. This results from the hard work done by farmers and management team of this coffee washing station. Training in applying best agricultural practices is held at this wet mill. Quality is taken seriously by both of them. Premiums from sales are distributed to farmers for them to continue the bringing selected coffee cherries.
