Description
56 years ago I was born in the municipality of Ragonvalia - Norte de Santander. From childhood I know coffee, thanks to my father who was incentivizing me the love for this cultivar.
My farm El Tolú, is located in the village Paso Antiguo in the municipality of Herrán, place where I have lived with my wife María Inés Contrera for about 30 years of happy marriage, we have only one son Luis Alberto he is 24 years old.
My great goal is to have the possibility of doing the renovation to the whole farm in the coming years, that way I can maintain the level production and quality and off course reaching always equilibrium with nature and environment.
I feel very proud of being a coffee producer, every day when I see my new coffee trees I get more motivation to keep going ahead and when I drink a coffee made by my wife`s hands and cultivated by my own, my heart gets full of happiness, just because I know is the result of my family`s work.
