Description
We have put a lot of love and dedication in our farm. We have a great team; Noel and Arnoldo, take care of the farm, they have made the farm part of them, and we have made them part of the family. Without their cares and effort this dream have not been possible.
During the preparation process of this lot, my grandfather, 99 years old, fell seriously ill, his illness absorbed all our attention, but thank god, he is still alive and enjoing our great coffee.
It was a race against time; we worked days and nights to prepare our lots in the best way.
Our grandfathers were the ones who transmitted their love for coffee through generations and mainly through my mother Daisy Rodríguez. Her passion, knowledge and dedication collected our first great award.
The farm is named “El Beneficio” due to the proximity of the coffee plants to the coffee mill.
We motivate our pickers to pick just ripe cherries assuring since the beginning of the process the quality of the coffee…
If someone asked me to define my coffee, I would say simply that it was carefully harvested and processed with the greatest affection. Its flavor, aroma, body and purity reflect our dedication, because we work with passion, obtaining the fifth place in Cup of Excellence filled us with great satisfaction.
This is our second Cup of Excellence adventure; we participate for the first time in 2008 and we achieved first place; it was an incredible joy and when they asked me how I felt I said: “we just won the OSCARS OF the COFFEE business!
