El Dragón - Costa Rica 2014 Verified listing

This farm is located at 1500 m.a.s.l on the foothill of Parritilla de La Legua de Aserrí. This town is inhabited mostly by humble people who are engaged in agriculture and strives every day to get the best fruit of the land.

The figure of the farm resembles the tail of a sleeping dragon that rises and can be seen from different geographical locations in the area, this is why we called it El Dragón. We are proud to participate for the fourth time in Cup of Excellence with this semi washed Typica variety coffee that verifies the quality of our coffee.

The rich soil, abundant wildlife, a microclimate with a Pacific influence, well-defined dry season from December to May, allows us to successfully develop different varieties: caturra, Bourbón, Gesha and Typica, taking care of the smallest details in the cultivation and processing of our coffee, to offer our clients the most exquisite experience of variety and flavors.
