Corral de Piedra - Mexico 2014 Verified listing

The finca is located in the agricultural area from Guzmantla community in Ixhuatlan del Café municipality, in Veracruz State. Mr. Agustín found this parcel 40 years ago; he remembers that in those years the main crop was tobacco and some fruits. He dreamt on having his own land, but it was a very far away dream because he has working as a laborer and he should save a lot of money and abstain of purchasing some goods. It was until 1999 that he had the opportunity to finally buy the finca that was owned by Mr. Ruben Serna, a very strict and disciplined man. At the beginning Mr. Agustín wanted to buy only a little portion, but Mr. Ruben told him to buy everything or there were not business. With a lot of effort and with his family support, he was able to buy all the hectares. Being the owner, he happily discovered that it was not only bumpy roads, that there was an easy access in the lower part of the finca which made much easier to work on the finca and make it productive. The name Corral de Piedra (stone barnyard) comes from long ago, when the people and producers used to construct walls with stones for delimit their properties.

This is my dream came true. Those dreams that looked far far away are now real and I will keep dreaming.
