My name is Óscar Eduardo Alvarado, I was born on March 1, 1981, the son of the farmer Mardoqueo Alvarado and Olivia Jojoa, a housewife. I am 34 years old, I live in the Charguayaco rural district with my wife Claudia Mireya Bolaños and my four children: Nixon David, Jennifer Dayana, Óscar Eduardo and Isabela.

I have dedicated all my life to coffee growing. I love to work with specialty coffees in order to improve the process day after day. I have taken part in different competitions here in the region and nationally in the Cup of Excellence.

In 2007 I reached the 10th place in the Cup of Excellence competition, and here in my region I have been a finalist several times. My goal is someday to reach the first place in these events. For this reason I will strive to the maximum. These contests have helped me have a better quality of life.
