My name is Martín Álvarez Moreno, I am 45 years old. I have been related to coffee since my childhood. My parents have been coffee growers. I have always lived in the Charguayaco “vereda” (rural district), in Pitalito, Huila. For 15 years I have been working at the La Golondrina farm, owned by my wife and stepchildren, who granted me a plot of around 4 has, of which 2 are grown with coffee; it is registered in the Sica (coffee-growing information system) with the name of Alexandra plot. My family consists of my wife, two children and four stepchildren.
My wife Alexandra Santofimio is a partner of the CadefiHuila cooperative and has taken part in Cup of Excellence. Now the farm has three seals: UTZ, Practices and FLO.
