The name of the farm is Las Neblinas constantly remains cloudy because it is located at the center of two mountains that are also owned by the Estate, cool climate at an altitude of 1500 m.o.s.l., with temperatures of 20 degrees and plenty of water.

TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
This farm we bought two years ago, with an area of 45 Manzanas of land* in total and coffee harvested area 20 Manzanas of land, with 18 QQ Green Coffee production of Red Catuaí variety.

FAMILY GENERATIONS:
The farm we own since the purchase (2 years ago). In the work of the farm we engage 3 people: my wife Maria Dolores Rodriguez, our son Carlos Fernando Cruz Rodriguez is 11 years old and me.

WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
I believe that the geographical position of the farm helps us a lot, variety of coffee, crop management, the care in the wet processing and the processes taking place in the Wet Mill La Florencia, SA

HOW DO YOU FEEL OF BEEN ONE OF THE WINNERS?
I feel very happy to know that the effort to produce a specialty coffee has paid off.

IN WHAT YOU WILL BE INVESTING PROFIT TO BE OBTAINED FROM ELECTRONIC AUCTION?
We would be investing in improvements to the farm to continue production of specialty coffee and improve some processing systems for example wet milling, improve conditions and occupational safety and occupational health of workers.

HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE COMPETITION BEFORE? HAVE YOU WON PREVIOUSLY?
No, this is the first time I have participated and won a place number 27.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE CUP OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM?
It is an event which strengthens in the production of specialty coffee as it is an ongoing work and is paid to be disclosed in the international coffee market getting special rates which is to promote the national economy.
