The Calderon Martinez family began with its micro mill in 2013, which is located in Santa María de Dota-Tarrazú. Everything started as a dream of Mr. Omar Calderon, who had plans on starting his own coffee processing years ago and motivated by his wife and four daughters decided to start.

Plantations over 1800 meters and good management of their batches began the coffee mill known nowadays as Granitos de Altura del Ortiz. The maintenance of the plantations is done by Mr. Calderon, who has experience in coffee growing for more than 20 years.  While the micro mill is worked by his daughters. We produce Typica with a Red Honey Processs located at the Height: 2100 meters above sea level.
