Description
This plot called “El Mirador” is located in the hamlet of La Victoria in the district and province of Jaén in the region of Cajamarca with an altitude of 1990 meters above sea level. Its first owners were close relatives. They grew coffee, takeaway bread and part of it was for raising cattle, the plot was acquired by my parents in 2000 and contains traditional coffee plantations such as caturra, typica, then we expanded new plantations such as catimor and caturra.
In 2020 we acquired the geisha coffee variety, knowing its high physical and sensory performance. We obtained its first harvests in 2021. Since then we have this production, in 2022 we registered for the first time in this cup of excellence competition. This year 2023 is our second consecutive year of our participation, hoping to go as far as possible and thus leave our region, our country at a national and international level.
