LUIS RICARDO CALDERON MADRIGAL
Farm Don Cayito from Luis Ricardo Calderón Madrigal: the farm was acquired by don Ricardo 9 years ago. It was planted 15% of Typica Mejorado, 15% of Geisha and the rest of de Red Catuai. The farm has 6 ha and is locates at 1950 m.a.s.l. The harvest season is during February. Four fertilizations are carried out per year with their respective soil analysis to satisfy the needs of the plant, batch by batch is processed in the micro-mill and its respective traceability is carried from the moment the coffee is received until the moment it is delivered to the winery of the exporter. Plantings with different varieties have been carried out and work is carried out according to the needs of each batch and each variety. Our wish for this farm and the coffee industry is to continue to carefully take care of the quality of each plot to continue offering a high-quality.
Winning the Cup of Excellence competition is not an immediate result, it is the reward for the hard work of our entire team; from pickers, family and mill employees. All together to achieve great results that are reflected in the excellence and consistency of our coffees year after year.
