Description
I bought Finca "Las Brumas" in 2009, captivated by its natural beauty and its unique and special microclimate.
The farm is located in the Santa Ana Volcano, Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range, Department of Sonsonate. The farm currently has an area of 150 hectares, of which 100 are cultivated with coffee and 50 with virgin cloud forest.
Since its location is between 3 of the most important and beautiful volcanoes of El Salvador known as "Parque Nacional de los Volcanes", it generates a temperate and foggy microclimate most of the year and that is why I took the decision to name the farm "Finca Las Brumas".
Annually in the winter agricultural phase, when most of the work on the farm is done, we maintain an average of 30 people per day on a fixed basis, and in the harvesting phase that lasts from January to April we have an average of 40 temporary staff per day.
