My name is Dinul Haq Sabyli, 32 years old. Both of my parents are elementary school teachers and I am the first child of 4 siblings. I am one of the young farmers in Argopuro Krucil mountain area, East Java, Indonesia. I am a local independent processor whose job is to process our local specialty, Argoro Krucil coffee and the owner of Bylbean Coffee.
I also own a robusta coffee farm which I individually cultivate since 2013, and I have cooperated with other Arabica coffee farmers since 2015 to pinpoint potential locations for high quality Arabica coffee varieties. Together with Mr. Moch Solihin, we have cultivated coffee in Kebun Cacing, Tambelang village, Krucil district, Probolinggo, in Mr Moch Solihin land since 2018. This farm is one of the world’s central coffee seed plantations during the Dutch colonization era. It ceased to exist because of a territory shift by the Indonesian government back in 1975, and replaced all old coffee with asparagus. Nowadays Mr. Moch. Solihin’s farm strives to restore the Arabica variety to what we hoped for this land.
In 2021 we are proud to take part in Cup of Excellence Indonesia which marks a historical moment in Asia and are excited to know how far our coffee can actually strive in the international market. This is a rare chance for us and an honor to be one of Indonesia’s representatives in the coffee world. It is in our culture to maintain the quality consistently and take responsibility for every coffee processing we do.
