In 2010 I received the farm Las Delicias or the delights as inheritance from my father. Since then I have worked it with my family. First, most of the plantations were of the Bourbon varietal, but when the rust arrived, it was affected the entire plantation. We began to plant Pache varietal, and we decided to take care of it. Since then we produce that varietal. It has given us good yields and we continue to keep it. We commercialize with the local buyers as this is the only commercial medium that we know.
It is a family farm as is small and the economic resources have limited us to grow the plot. We have projects to continue planting other varietals as the soil is rich in organic matter and is suitable for growing coffee. We work together with my husband and children. It is the only means of daily sustenance to get ahead the family. The harvest month peak is January, we do 5 cuts until February.
