12 - La Libertad - Nicaragua 2024

Our farm is located in the municipality of Mozonte Nueva Segovia and the variety with which we have participated is Bourbon, last year we were in position number 14 and there we are going step by step advancing.
We hope that our coffee will start to become more attractive to foreign comparators as a result of seeing the goodness, attributes and notes that my coffee has and also through the scores and cup of excellence it serves as a showcase to the world and to be able to market my coffee well.
This is a family tradition, we started 44 years ago with my grandfather, then there was a generational change and the farm passed into the hands of my father and for the last 9 years I have been 100% in the farm and I am already the third generation.
The farm continues to grow in varieties and extension, currently we have added the Bourbon, Cuscatleco and Maragogype varieties.
My message to the coffee growers of Nicaragua is that they should put passion, passion to the things they do, that they should define goals, short and medium term resolutions, that if in one year they do not achieve the objective they have set, that they should continue persevering, continue making adjustments along the way, that they should not change that goal but rather change the plan they are using on the farm. The coffee industry and the cup of excellence is a window to the world, that they know their coffee, that they know their farm and fall in love with coffee because that is the key when you like it and you are passionate about it with a lot of love.
This achievement is a shared happiness with the entire team, with all my family, with all my friends, with the same people of the mill that I thank very much for the support provided throughout this process.
