Description
I am Eka Teguh Kurniawan and I started processing coffee in 2017. With my parents' background as farmers who have managed and processed coffee for generations, as a millennial farmer, I am responsible for continuing what has existed and making it grow.
As West Java is one of the largest coffee-producing regions, I want to more widely introduce coffee from Mount Papandayan nationally and internationally, especially from the Nangklak Block and Emper Block which I submitted to this competition.
As a millennial processor, I do not close myself off from various kinds of process method experiments, such as using inoculants, yeast, mosto, and others. Still, I remain responsible for what I do, such as working with a team that has credibility in this matter.
Of course, it's not just the latest processes, the classic natural, honey and washed processes are still carried out, to maintain the distinctive taste that is the identity of the region.
