My name is Johel Monge Naranjo, and with Matias, we both work on the Hacienda San Isidro Labrador Project. We are very happy to have obtain fifteenth place in Cup of Excellence, we did so with a sundried anaerobic process on a Geisha variety. Our farm is located on the hills of Dota, in the Tarrazu region, at an elevation of 1950 m.a.s.l.
Hacienda San Isidor Labrador is a family business that started 6 years ago and is the fourth year that we participate in Cup of Excellence as Hacienda San Isidro Labrador Micro mill. We focus on the production of specialty coffee and are pleased to be a part of Cup of Excellence, as it has allowed us to showcase and share our coffee with roasters and consumers who value quality and hard work and the traceability of our coffee.
Years ago, we participated as part of Grupo Los Grandes de Copey and happily obtained 1st place in COE 2017, 2nd place COE 2018, and 1st and 3th places in COE 2019.
