La Colmena farm is located in the community of Santa Barbara, at an altitude of 1650 m.a.s.l. On my farm we carry out different practices for the conservation of natural resources, especially cultivation under shade, for which we use timber trees such as Guama. I feel very happy that both the environmental conditions of the farm, such as the soil and the climate, as well as the proper management of the coffee harvest, beginning with the selected cut of the red coffee until the drying process, have contributed to obtained a good place in the competition and be among those selected for the electronic auction, since this will allow me to improve the conditions of my farm. I believe that this type of event granted us access to publicize our best coffees both nationally and internationally. This is my second time participating and I feel very motivated to continue to improve the preparation and handling of my coffee and my farm.
