Located at 1,050 meters in Xinshe District, Taichung, Tougui Shan Scenic Ecological Coffee Farm is dedicated to cultivating high-quality specialty coffee while preserving its pristine mountain ecosystem. Owner Lai, Jian-Yi practices natural farming—eschewing pesticides and chemical fertilizers—in favor of environmentally friendly methods that nurture both the land and its biodiversity.
The result is a thriving habitat for wildlife such as wild boars, monkeys, and birds, and a terroir that produces exceptional coffee. The farm is especially renowned for its Geisha variety, which has repeatedly earned Top Prize honors in the Taichung City Specialty Coffee Evaluation for its refined floral and fruity aromas and rich, balanced flavor.
