Description

History

I have been a coffee grower since 1991, which was the year I could buy the farm in association with a friend. Before that I was a hand picker who was working in different municipalities. When I started, I had a one hectare lot. Then, I was planting more trees until I complete 3 hectares. I got married 17 years ago and now I have two children.

Environmental Care

The farm is 100% shade grown with citric trees and also guamos. We take care of the soil and the flora and fauna.

Coffee Processing Information

We fertilize mainly with chemical products twice per year at a ratio of 70 grams per tree. We don't have troubles with broca or roya in the farm, however we do cultural control during the year. Our main harvest is from May through July.
