He and his brother Rafael created a company, Inversiones Cafetaleras de Occidente, and bought the land 10 years ago. The obsession with la Fany, comes from the name of a woman baptized by his ancestors, the general Fabio Moran and Etifanio Silva back in 1870. The high quality coffee planted and the richness of it soil create a perfect union to produce exceptional coffee. This is Luiss second time entering the Cup of Excellence. Luis had a high reduction in his harvest and decided to take another chance, and won! The winning lot, 100% Boubon, was picked for two days, and was taken to the mill Cooperativa Los Ausoles immediately afterwards to be processed. The average age of the trees are 25 years old.
