Description
History
My name is Neovan Manrique Artunduaga, I born on July 1966 in the municipality of Oporapa, South of the Department of Huila. Since I was 8 years old, my family moved to the El Triunfo village (Pitalito Municipality), then I was living there several years and I moved again to the department of Cundinamarca. 2 years ago I came back to El triunfo village. I am still single and I am completely convinced that the coffee can provides me the resources to improve my way of living.
Environmental Care
I have implemented septic tanks in the farm for treating the residual water, looking for the preservation of the natural sources of fresh water. I have seeded native trees as alive barriers in the borders of the farm as well. I am conscious of the preservation of the environment, for that reason I dont cut nor burn the native forest.
Coffee Processing Information
The fertilization is done according to the soils analysis. I only pick the red cherries which I process using the desmucilaginador. Drying process is solar. Broca and other pest control is mainly cultural.
