The farm name SANTA MARIA MACORA is located at the populated center of CHIPAQUILLO, district of MARIAS, province of 2 DE MAYO DEL VALLE DEL MONZON. At an altitude of 1459msl. In the year 2004 Ms Clomalda and her family decided to move to the village of MACORA to get better opportunities and increase their life quality.

Because the necessity and hurry to get money that offer the business of cultivating coca, but we saw the negative effect it generated in our lives so we decided to change and plant coffee plants  of TYPICA and CATURRA back in 2008 in an area of 1 ha. With the support of the united nations who assured to them due to the quality of the weather and the ground conditions that coffee was a good plant to produce. Since then we have now about 3 has. With CATURRA, CATIMOR, and GESHA.

Initially Clomalda and her family decided to undertake a business only with CATURRA and TYPICA varieties, but due to the hard work, decision, proactive attitude, and effort they got to cultivate in 2014 2 has with CATIMOR. But they did not stop there, they understand that to overcome plagues and obtain a better product they had to take better care of the fertilizing, cleaning the land, manage of shadows, the family is now implementing all the learning they obtain during the different technical talks and visits of the different associations. Then she decided to plant GESHA seeds in the early 2017, plants that are now participating in CUP OF EXCELLENCE.
