Description

The “El Rejo” coffee farm is a special corner of our commitment and dedication in the San José del Alto town center, in the district of Jaén. As the owner, I, José Rivera Vega, together with my wife, have dedicated a lot of effort to carefully taking care of a single hectare of land, located at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level. where the bourbon variant flourishes. Our story is woven with sacrifice and exemplary collaboration between spouses.

At “El Rejo” we understood that meticulous care of coffee cultivation required dedication and perseverance. Every day my wife and I ventured into the coffee fields, sharing responsibilities to ensure the well-being of our plants. This cooperation strengthened our ties and instilled in us the importance of working hand in hand. Challenges were constantly presented from variable weather conditions to intricate growing techniques. However, over time we have refined our understanding and practices. We have learned to discern the specific needs of the bourbon variety and how to optimize the harvesting process.

Many years ago, in San José del Alto we began our adventure in coffee production in “El Rejo”. My wife and I meticulously took care of our farm, where bourbon flourished. We worked together every day, sharing responsibilities and strengthening our union.

The challenges were constant, changing weather conditions and complicated growing techniques, but over time we perfected our practices and learned to understand the specific needs of bourbon. Our farm became famous for the quality of its grains. Thus at “El Rejo”, our history in coffee production was woven with love, effort and dedication. We learned that working together with passion and perseverance leads to success on earth and in love.
