Mrs. Hj Dasimah Hakim and Mr. H. Darsian Arib are a wonderful couple who diligently care for the coffee farm they inherited from Mr. Darsian’s parents even after they retire. The coffees have been cultivated since 1940 and inherited by Mr. Darsian and have gone through three overhauls from Ramung Coffee, Ateng Jaluk and finally Ateng Super.
The farm, which is located at Altitude of 1650 is hit by mist by evening and head facing east in organized lines if compared to surrounding farms and only cultivating one variety of coffee, Ateng Super.
Yearly production varied with an average of 2 – 3 tons of Green Beans. The farm has different harvest time with most other coffee in Gayo due to the altitude. The harvest season usually starts from November to the end of May every year.
