Description
The farm started in 2008 with varieties such as Catimor, Typica, and Pache. However, in 2013, it was affected by coffee leaf rust. After facing this plague, the farm remained operational until 2020, when a complete renovation took place. We then switched to varieties such as Caturra and Geisha. The coffee plants are now 4 years old and showing their highest productive index. My family, the “Guevaras”, migrated from the city of Chota (Cajamarca) to the locality of Palma, committing to coffee cultivation. I am part of the third generation of coffee producers, constantly striving to improve quality by implementing new techniques in drying and fermentation processes.
