I am today with a heart filled with gratitude, a passion for exceptional coffee, and an unyielding dedication to cultivating specialty coffee. Seven years ago, I embarked on this unexpected and remarkable journey with my family, clutching a big dream and blessed with a beautiful piece of land. In a world where countless beans strive to make their mark, I feel humbled and honored that the Cup of Excellence has deemed my coffee worthy. My washed Parainema, nurtured at 1650 meters, stands as an exquisite offering marking our second participation in COE. Behind our coffee’s essence, lies a story of perseverance, sacrifice, gigantic challenges and determination. There have been major disappointments as was experiencing our first harvest in 2020, starting a global pandemic after pouring so much effort and investment. Yet, my aspiration reaches beyond the realm of mere agriculture. I yearn to shape this project, together with my family, into a thriving business where sustainability, inclusivity, and shared prosperity will bind together more families. Through our labor, we aspire to create a legacy that resonates far beyond the borders of Honduras, leaving a positive mark on future generations.
