Description
ESTEBAN MADRID CHAVEZ is the owner of El Sauce Farm Located in San Luis Planes, Santa Bárbara, at 1500 meters above sea level.
Esteban started producing Bourbon coffee 50 years ago and currently grows the variety of Pacas, because it is of good quality, pleasing to the customers' palate.
The farm is managed by Esteban's youngest son, José Esteban, most of whom are temporary employees for coffee harvest times.
They take care of the environment, they have vegetation to care for the environment, they take care of the water sources that are near the farm.
They do not use chemicals, the coffee pulp is used for fertilization and nutrition of the coffee plantation.
Cup of excellence is beneficial for us coffee growers because if we win or will remain in the first places, it gives us the opportunity to sell our coffee at a better price.
