Description
Finca Chizo is a project that was born just over three years ago, as a result of a partnership that we formed Allan Oviedo, my brother Ubelio Oviedo and Victor Rodriguez, who is also the husband of one of my sisters. Our illusion was to produce specialty coffee, with a unique flavor and exceptional quality. To do this, we rented a farm located in the cajon of Grecia, in the western valley, at an altitude of 1550 to 1650 meters above sea level. There we grow conventional varieties such as caturra, catuai and Villa Sarchi, as well as San Roque, Kenya and Geisha in the highest areas. This year we participated for the first time with this farm in Cup of Excellence, obtaining the fifth position and a presidential award, which fills us with pride and enthusiasm to continue working always looking to produce coffee of the highest quality. This farm had a rested washed process, which consists of pulping the coffee and resting it in tanks with all its honey and then washing it and finishing the drying in African beds.
