Description
#5 La Ele
Alberth Monge Segura
La Ele was acquired by Alberth Monge and his brother Geovanni Monge in 2012 and for the first time processed as a micro lot in 2016. During the last 8 years they have been improving the agronomical practices and as a result they have reached an extraordinary and consistent quality. The cup profile year by year reflect the special soils conditions and the high potential that Red Catuai, Villa Sarchi and Geisha varieties express in this farm.
On the order hand, a plan of reforestation it’s been developed for the coming years but since the beginning the farm has changed completely from a simple grass plot to a complex natural environment.
After the pulping station the lot goes directly to the Raised beds to start our slow dried process that takes 45 days!
