Description
La Palma was adquired from Duberney`s father. It is with 6,5 hectares of varietals and 50 hectares of primary forests. Is not only a coffee farm, it is a family business. What makes this coffee so special,
is the love and time that Duberney and his wife, Neyireth, invest in it. Part of the greatness of
this farm is the important role that Neyireth plays in the post-harvest process of the
coffee. Duberney and Neyireth have lived on their farm for more than 13 years, growing coffee
with love and dedication. Family tradition and culture led Duberney to the coffee world. Since
then, Duberney has been absolutely passionate about coffee. Not only does he produce
specialty coffee for the extra income he receives, but because he is passionate about exotic
coffee varieties. Despite all the sacrifices and challenges that he has surpassed, Duberney is
characterized for his persistence and for never giving up on the quality of his coffee.
Additionally, Duberney had the great experience of being a PECA technician for Caravela,
where he learned many new things about taking proper care of coffee trees and how to
conserve and improve quality. He is really proud to see other producers that he assisted while
he was working as a PECA technician reaching the final spots of Cup of Excellence in 2017.
